We live simply on a four-acre Hobby Farm on the outskirts of KC with our four children, where we raise Rhodesian Ridgebacks. My parents bred German Shepherds in Spain where I was raised and I loved the process. Throughout my life I have owned many breeds from German Shepherds, Pit Bulls along with Mixed breeds.  In 2008 after getting married and starting our Hobby farm here at Stoneridge, we crossed paths with The Breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks when we rescued our first Bella, a RR Mix. I was struck by a strong yet sensitive personality, a very loving and affectionate lap dog,  a low shedding  easy to maintain breed and a loyal and diligent guard dog. She had a hunger for adventure and could easily keep up with our duties here at our farm and our adventures of travel and hiking. I had found the perfect match for our family and our lifestyle! It was soon after that  (2010)  we connected with family friends that were missionaries to Africa, purchased our 1st Rhodesian Ridgeback and soon after became Stewards of The Breed. We strive to keep this gentle guardian as close to the Breed Standard as possible in Health by doing extensive testing through OFA on Dams and Sire and Temperament by patiently coaching and using a hands on calm but firm training approach.  We are very pleased with what  Bella and Trigger are producing  together and will continue their line to create a strong in bone, gentle in spirit family guard dog. Nahla is our Breeder picks from their 2nd  Litter and will continue their line. We breed to improve The Breed. Our pack is raised indoors in our living room and not in a kennel, they are with us all day, they work with us and sleep inside our home with us where there are loud noises and lots of human interaction. We breed to improve The Breed here in USA and so have chosen European and African Lines. Our puppies have found homes throughout the US and Canada and even Mexico. We sell mostly on Pet Limited Registration Contracts, but do occasionally release Full Show/Breeder Rights and Stud services to fellow reputable RR Breeders. We support and offer guidance to our puppy owners and ask they keep in touch with us for any needed information and advice, (Check out our Facebook page for lots of great articles) we are not however a substitute for the much needed Vet and Trainers and their expertise. We do encourage communication through phone calls, e-mails, and photos regularly throughout the life of your new companion as we are sincerely concerned for the lifelong welfare of our offspring dogs .
